All I wish for has come to pass.
Yep, I'm here to tell you about my sadness. Or at least mention it. Alex left me. A year & a half of dating & sharing an apartment & a cat & he left me on Thursday. So now I'm gonna attempt to clean the memory of him out of my apartment. It's no longer "ours".

Life in the fast lane...part 2.
Out of all those things I mentioned in my last post that're on my list of things I want, I somehow forgot that I've been looking for the biggest sized stuffed animal version of one of these guys:
an ocelot!
I still haven't been able to find anything over 14" & that's just the length measurement, not the height one on a plush. Why is this so hard? I should be able to have a replica of my favorite animal to sleep with every nite. Fuck my teddy bear & my real cat.

Life in the fast lane...
Remember my last post on here? (If not, take two seconds to scroll down the page & give it a glance.) It was from almost a month ago & a whine-fest about how I had no hope for an upcoming job interview. Guess what I've been doing all this time? WORKING!! It turned out not to be an interview. I was hired on the spot. Now I'm puling down fast food money. Where at? Carl's Jr.
A representation of me. Don't expect me to actually do this.
Unfortunately I'm making less $ at this job than I was at my previous one. Well, I am working less hours as well. But as with every job, there's the glorious thing called money! So now I have a growing list of things I wanna purchase when I get around to having the money to spend:
A non-U.S.A. made hookah
Me over 3 years ago. It hasn't been that long since I last smoked, but damn it's been too long.
A flask
You know what those are, right?
9/16th plugs
Yeah, you read that right. I'm finally thinking of stretching my ears up again after almost 2&1/2 to 3 years at 1/2". & I'm totally planning on ordering some organic wood ones off Body Candy.
Not these ones, but this is just a taste of what they have.
Vegan, organic, & cruelty-free facial wash/cosmetics
Because I care about the environment, yo.
Maybe this one. Who knows?
Operation
Yes, the game. & none of that P.C. new version where the dude is wearing shorts. No, he has to be butt-ass naked.
Well that's it, for now I guess.

Is it too late to change my mind about Christmas already?
Today is the last day of December. Thank FSM (Flying Spaghetti Monster. My version of that thing people refer to as "God".). This month has been a nightmare for me. After being on some weird thing they termed "suspension", I was terminated from my job less than 2 weeks before Christmas. 3 days before my NV Energy bill was due, 2 weeks before my Charter internet, & less than 3 weeks before my rent & Cricket. Thank FSM again that I purchased that brand new $600+ laptop at the beginning of the month, right? So maybe wanting a sewing machine as my gift for Christmas wasn't the right choice. Should have asked Santa to bring me a job instead. Or this little item so I could print out my resume to help me on my job search:
USB Cable Cord for Cannon PIXMA ip2700 Printer
Yes, I just scheduled my 4th interview for the month (sorta) for tomorrow. The last interview I went to, the interviewer actually scolded me for not bringing a resume. & said I wasn't experienced enough to work in his restaurant. Umm isn't food service almost exclusively all I've done for practically the past 2 years? I also recently have been passed over for a housekeeping job because of my lack of experience. Yes, not experienced in the field of cleaning toilets. The nerve of some people, right?
A guess a job interview on the first day of a brand new year is somewhat of a promising view of how 2014 can turn out. I don't even expect to land the job, but maybe I should start things off more optimistically. 2013 has not been the best year. I somehow lost all my friends, went through 3 different jobs, & had to tell my mother to give up a cat I have had since I was 16. But maybe things can change around. There's always the possibility I can finally grow out of my social awkwardness & get one of those things people call a "life".
So to end things on a lighter note, (Yeah, I know this entry got a little depressing. Sue me.) Here's 2 movies I recently watched that I would recommend for you to get your horror on.:
American Mary
Maniac

You get the beer. We get the time. You get the coke, gimme a line.
Sorry for the time gap since my last post. It's been a hectic time. My laptop broke & work has been taking over my life. But here I am again with a brand new laptop & more useless crap to share with the world. (I.e. probably just a few of my select friends that for some reason seem interested in the things I have to say.) So the topic of this entry is a subject I am quite familiar with: maximizing your blood alcohol content (or how to get more drunk without spending more). I know it seems like a subject to come out of nowhere, but I recently read an article on NY Daily News (most likely found on StumbleUpon again) & had a conversation with a coworker who (by her stories) is an avid connoisseur of alcohol. After working almost 2 years at a club, I am fully a fan of cocktail drinks. Even though I mainly consume whiskey & some type of dark soda because I'm a cheap bastard, I am not afraid to try new things. I know I had read it somewhere before, but the article reinforces the simple fact that diet soda (to put in simple terms) gets you more drunk than regular soda. Why? Just read the damn article. It's a legitimate news site & the article references a scientific study. But you know what'll get you even more sauced feeling? Replacing soda altogether with a carbonated-less drink: juice. Wanna read the same information on a different site? Try ABC News. Same thing on CNN Health, NPR, & even CBS News. So there you go. You'll be paying the same price you usually pay, but you'll be feeling more of it. So I'm saving you money here. Well I'm not personally. But I'm telling you how to fucking party. Same diff.

Yes, I have a new guilty pleasure.
So for the first time in, like, ever I finally have a consistent, non-seasonal part-time job. Well, I have had one for the past 2 months now. That means I have a steady paycheck every two weeks now & I even opened another bank account. This also means that I have dived deep into the world of buying items online. I must admit: I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It's pretty easy nowadays to buy almost anything your heart desires online for (most of the time) cheaper than scouring stores. So here's another post to give you a link to a website I've found to be more than helpful in my life: Rakuten (Formerly Buy.com).
I just recently (as in the last few months) came upon this site on the wonderful (again) site of StumbleUpon (which seems to give up a lot of good sites on it actually if you wade through the mass of crap & excessive porn it goes through). & yes, I've only used this site successfully only once so far, but it was enough of a good experience for me to just place another $100+ order on it. It has movies, books, electronics, clothing, & more. My first order only consisted of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (for my boyfriend Alex, of course), but it was nearly half the price of retail price & it shipped straight to my door in a reasonable amount of time. I'm gonna become addicted to this site.

All we hear is Radio ga ga. Radio blah blah.
Well here it is- my second post. Before starting this, a good deal of my time was spent on the internet downloading music or streaming videos. So I decided to share my "secrets" of the sites I use to do all this. it's hard to wade through all the crap to find legitimate sites that work, have a decent selection, & won't load up your hardware with viruses. So here is my current array of options. (You can probably find other sites that work just as well, but these are the ones I've found that work for me.):
This website is my first choice go to option here. It almost always has what I'm looking for. You can download music, movies, games, & more in torrents.
YouTube to mp3 Converter
Sometimes you wanna download one specific song or something not very popular that you can't find on your first choice site. That's when you find it on YouTube, copy the link, & then paste it into this site where it'll turn it into a downloadable mp3 file for you.
YouTubeMP3
Same concept as the above link, but sometimes an "error" message will come up & the file won't convert.
Wanna watch episodes of your favorite redneck 4th graders? Nothing beats the official site.
Watch Series
This sites has links for pretty much every TV show & it's episodes out there.
Asian Horror Movies
The name says it all.
Crackle
Kinda like the offbeat, independent version of Netflix.
Solar Movie
Movies, movies, movies.
Jinni
This is a site I just recently found on StumbleUpon. It's pretty limited in the selection of streaming links it gives you. But it has television shows & movies. I've been using it mainly for the fact that you can rate titles & it will create a "movie personality sketch" for you that organizes/categorizes your tastes & gives you suggestions of similar titles for you to watch. You can also sync it with your Netflix account.
Netflix
So I've already named dropped this site twice. But do I really have to say anything about it? You already know what the deal is here. This is the only website listed here that isn't free.
Hulu
Just like Netflix, you know what the deal is here too. mainly TV shows, but a handful of movies too. Catch is that the upgraded version is better than the freebie one.
Nick Reboot
Nickelodeon shows from the 90s & early 2000s streaming 24/7. Sound great? It is.
The Simpsons
D'oh.
Family Guy
Why not?
So there ya go. Say goodbye to cable & buying actual physical copies of things anymore.
PeerBlock
Before downloading anything, I installed a IP address blocker. In the past, I had been using the website The Pirate Bay to download torrents. & then I ran into the problem of Charter sending literally hundreds of emails about me downloading illegally. PeerBlock is a free & open source software firewall application.PeerBlock lets you control who your computer "talks to" on the Internet.
Utorrent
Everyone who's ever downloaded anything off the internet ever should of at least come in contact with torrents. I find them neat little packages of convenience. So you gotta have a program to download those suckers in, right? So my preferred choice: utorrent.Downloading sites
